Holding a Boombox Outside Your Window | a playlist series
If I walked up to a stranger on the subway and shared an earbud to my iPhone, or if I put a boombox on my shoulder and pressed play, this is what you'd hear.
I follow a lot of playlists on Spotify. (Probably an excessive amount of playlists, to be honest). That said, there's a lot of really great music out there. Sometimes I hear a song I haven't heard before, and I immediately reach to turn up the volume and make a mental note to listen to more music by that artist. Am I alone in this? I think not. Which gave me an idea...
Here's a little playlist of seven tracks I think you should hear. Basically, this is me grabbing the aux cord and calling car DJ. Each song is by a different artist, in the hopes that you'll like their music and download the rest of their songs. The playlist will be updated periodically with a different set of songs, so be sure to click the "follow" button if you find yourself liking what you hear.
